Forgive us if it is starting to sound like we are paid hacks of Gino’s pizza. After all, three articles is probably enough to make you think so:
– The First Gino’s Pizza where we discovered its Neapolitan style goodness
– The Second Gino’s Pizza in Makati…
– …and if you love Italian food, and have not eaten a burrata yet in your life, you are so missing out.
(For reference, this is a burrata. Buffalo mozzarella with oozing cream once you slice it open)
And then now a fourth one.
Again, forgive us.
But you cannot deny that this brand with humble roots has taken a loyal following thanks to one thing that we discovered when we were in Rome:
INGREDIENT, INGREDIENT, INGREDIENT.
Italian cooking is all about this, and nothing more. The simplicity of the recipes commands that the ingredients used should be the freshest and best, lest its flaws come out.
And then Gino’s brings in its take on Italian flavors using local ingredients, like kesong puti for their margherita pizza
Or maybe just bunch together things that go so well like Bacon and Gouda Cheese
And something new that is now essential to those salty pizzas or crispy bread: SPICY HONEY.
So again, forgive us.
And if you won’t, well, we’re sorry we’re not sorry.
