The Lazy Bastard’s Honey Parmesan Dog

This is what the Lazy Bastard’s Honey Parmesan dog can do to you:

Instead of putting an effort into making home cooked meals, it has made me brown-bag seven hotdogs to feed a dinner for seven people, practically reducing my worth in society to an equivalent of the actual name of the shop:

A Lazy Bastard.

So much for being The Tipsy Cook.

There’s something about the hotdogs they use at this place. Reading the menu, it says it uses these classic Nathan’s Hotdogs from the USA. It says it’s pure beef. Any local hotdog can do that anyway.

But then why is it just so different?

The succulence is divine, the flavor is leagues apart from any other hotdog. And then they decided to:

– wrap it with bacon,

– drizzle a bit of honey,

– stuff in some arugula,

-and sprinkle a bit of parmesan cheese.

…The result?

The best hotdog in Manila.

Have it for take-away, have it dine-in on site, or have it lodged to your chest like some guy hands you a score of contraband, eager to get it out of their hands for you to enjoy each and every bite. Yes. This is how it was served one time when we were inside the hidden Speakeasy inside the Lazy Bastard: ABV.

One thing’s for certain, you are not living life in the metro if you do not indulge in a good hotdog once in a while. And if it is going to be a good hotdog, it’s gotta be the Lazy Bastard’s Honey Parmesan.

And if you need to find it, you can’t miss it. It’s a giant sign that draws fellow Lazy Bastards like rats to a flame grilled patty.
